Always wishing you had more time for exercise? Well, now’s your chance. Time to get Iso-Active.
There are so many reasons for staying active. Particularly at this time. A lot of people are in isolation or not out going to work/school getting that incidental exercise they normally get.
We should all aim for at least 30 mins of exercise a day. This is very easy for anyone to achieve. Whether it’s getting out for a walk around your area, taking the dog for a walk, finding a trail to walk (there’s so many great trails throughout Canberra) and you get the added advantage of being amongst nature. Or even doing a home body weight workout. No need for lots of equipment there’s so many things you can do with just your own body weight.
Staying active plays a vital role in self-care and doesn’t have to be hard work. Just it’s the moving that is important. Just PLAY and have FUN. Get the kids involved too – dance together, have a game of soccer or footy in the backyard or drag out your old skipping rope and hoola hoop. They will LOVE it and so will you.
By getting regular exercise you can improve the quality of your life. It will improve your health, and reduce your risk of developing several diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, type II diabetes, and cancers. It will help lower blood pressure, and help you to have stronger bones, muscles and joints and help you lower your risk of developing osteoporosis. Plus, it will make you feel better, giving you more energy, put you in a better mood and you will feel more relaxed and even sleep better. Get out and about today and get some fresh air, and just keep moving. You might even see some amazing wildlife. You will not regret it!
