Enjoying ‘Me Time’ seems like something that should be so easy to find time to do. Yet being in isolation with the hubby and two previously active children is tough.
Giving myself approval to do me time seems absurd. But I have learned that for 30 minutes every day, it is okay to put myself first. It’s essential to continue to take care of ourselves, so that we can continue to give love, nurturing and care to others. Its important to let my family know that I need this time for myself: to be a better mummy and wife and the family has respected and embraced this. It is an important lesson to teach our children to and to lead by example.
During the recent iso period, My Me Time ritual has been a soak in the tub. I do this with a generous amount of IKOU bubble bath, from the De-Stress range. The combination of lavender and geranium creates an instant feeling of relaxation. The room fills with the beautiful and soft aroma of lavender and geranium. It instantly creates an atmosphere of calmness. This gorgeous bubble bath envelops you in its calming bubbles and sets your mind free and allows you to truly destress and relax.

This beautiful product consists of organic and herbal extracts including, Lavender, Geranium, Lemon, Patchouli, Avocado oil, jojoba oil, Rosehip extracts just to name a few ingredients. Sometimes I have an iced water and other times I have a nice drop of white wine, depending on my mood and how the week has been.
Please remember to give yourself approval for Me Time. Whether it’s a soak in the bath, a walk around the block or just finding that quiet and much needed space for yourself to focus on you. Sending lots of loving and positive vibes to get you through this trying time.
