Stress Less this Spring’ with Mindful Living

Stress and its management is the focus of the first of our 6 week seasonal programs.
‘Stress Less this Spring’ is a caringly tailored, introductory program focussing on the mindfulness skills that will assist you to still a chattering mind, settle into sleep, relax the tension in your body and reconnect with yourself and your natural environment.
The two hours you set aside each week to attend this program will be a life long investment in your health and wellbeing. Set within Jindii EcoSpa, in the lush surrounds of the Australian National Botanic Gardens, you’ll feel relaxed and focused.
This is a 6 week program running from 1:30-3:30pm each week, on the following dates:
- Sunday 29th October 2017
- Sunday 5th November 2017
- Sunday 12th November 2017
- Sunday 19th November 2017
- Sunday 26th November 2017
- Sunday 3rd December 2017
(NB: Your fee pays for all 6 sessions in the program.)
Program: Jacquie Shannon, your Mindfulness Teacher, has a decade of personal practice in mindfulness. In this program she will focus on clear and helpful instruction in the various mindfulness practices that can assist you to manage stressful experiences. You will gain insight into how and why we experience stress, when it is helpful and when it is harmful, and how to recognise early warning signs and mindfully choose a pathway to health and well-being.
Classes are small and personalised, with only 10 spots available, so book soon if you want to attend.
Who is this for? Ages 16+. Healthy, light refreshments will be on offer. Please wear comfortable clothing (you are welcome to bring any meditation cushions etc, but this is not necessary.)
Refund Policy: Your spot can be cancelled up to 7 days, prior to the first session commencing, will a full refund. If you unexpectedly have to miss a session, you will be given the chance to catch up, with no repayment. Future Programs: The Summer Program will focus on nourishing mindfulness practices including loving kindness, compassion and generosity. In 2018, the Autumn Program will focus on resilience and joy. The Winter Program will focus on engaging and exploring our relationship with nature.
Following your attendance at this first Spring Program, any subsequent program you attend, the fee will be reduced.
